My expertise lies in working with individuals experiencing difficulties resulting from anxiety, depression, cultural challenges, low self-esteem, interpersonal relationships and trauma. Together, I will work with you to create a more meaningful and fulfilling life.


I am committed to providing you with a safe and non-judgmental space to express yourself, explore your needs, and move towards personal growth. I use a warm, collaborative and integrative approach to guide you in deep reflection, so you may utilize your own insights to explore your challenges, discover growth within them, and develop tools to aid in healing.

About Me


I was born in India and immigrated to the United States in 2010. I hold two Master’s degrees, the first in Clinical Psychology and the second in Mental Health Counseling.

My clinical interests focus on guiding you on your path to self-discovery and healing. My services aim to facilitate personal growth, introduce clarity to your distress and find meaning in your life. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, cultural challenges and relationship issues. I teach techniques to better manage the emotional stressors of everyday life, and utilize CBT as an integrative approach with other psychotherapy approaches to meet your needs. An understanding of the mind-body connection is an important aspect in my work with you. 


As an immigrant myself, I am passionate about delivering culturally competent care to individuals who are navigating more than one culture in their lives, those who have immigrated to the U.S., as well as to those who are marginalized in our society. Prior to opening my private practice, I provided community-based mental health care to children, adults and families. 

When I am not working, you will find me in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, doting on my dogs, or being one with nature.

What is individual therapy and Is it for me?

Individual therapy or talk therapy provides you with a safe space to enhance your emotional well-being by engaging in deep sharing about your feelings and experiences, exploring your needs and understanding how your life experiences influence your functioning. It is a judgment-free space where you will learn to access your own vulnerability. This space will inspire you to share about your struggles and the impact they are having on you. You will be assisted in developing tools to manage distress. You will also be assisted in developing compassion and acceptance of yourself and your circumstances. You will learn to move from a space of judgment and criticism to nurturing your true self in order to live life in accordance with your values.


Individual therapy can be a short-term or a long-term process. My practice focuses on long-term therapy. I believe it takes time to peel away layers and confront the root cause(s) of our distress; once these are identified, deeper long-standing healing takes place. Openness is key to growth.

Do you do teletherapy?

Yes, I am currently conducting sessions virtually using a HIPAA-compliant platform.

What are your fees? 

My standard rate for a 50-minute individual therapy session is $180. As an out-of-network provider, I will provide you with a superbill that will allow you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. 

         I also offer a sliding scale for a variety of circumstances. Please feel free to ask me if this is an option available to you.
